The ISPCA has rescued over 100 dogs in just three days.

86 dogs, including 23 puppies, were removed by inspectors from an unlicensed dog breeders in County Roscommon.

The dogs were being kept in poor conditions and had only one person to care for them all, with nineteen suffering from health issues.

Another 17 puppies were then removed from a house on Thursday.

The dogs will not be available for re-homing for several weeks and in the meantime the ISPCA is asking for donations to help with their care.
