One-third of people in Connacht /Ulster are unhappy with their broadband speeds at home.

That's one of the findings of a new survey carried out by price comparison service Switcher.ie, which shows that- nationally - 60% of Irish consumers are satisfied with their home broadband speeds, but this drops to 33% in Connaught / Ulster.

Despite the ongoing rollout of faster speeds to more areas of the country, over three-quarters of consumers say their home broadband speeds are either the same or worse than this time last year, while many customers are not convinced that the Government's National Broadband Plan will sort out their broadband issues.
