The father of an Erris woman who won the Melbourne Women’s Marathon on Saturday says he and her family are very proud of her. Eddie Divers of Corclough West, Belmullet says they are all on cloud nine since the race, and are now looking forward to her taking part in the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.

41 year old Sinead Diver, is now resident in Australia, and she romped home first in the Melbourne Marathon on Saturday running 2:25:19, a course record.
