12 roadside drug driving tests were carried out in Mayo over the past 18 months - compared to almost 14,000 thousand breath tests for alcohol over the same period.
That's according to figures obtained by Independents 4 Change TD Tommy Broughan.
The total number of drug driving tests nationally over the period was just short of 2,000, compared to close to a half a million drink driving tests.
The drug driving tests were introduced in April 2017 with plans to carry out 50 thousand a year.
In Galway 22 drink driving tests have been carried out over the past 18 months compared to almost 15,000 drink driving tests.
In the Roscommon/ Longford division the figures are 42 drug driving tests and over 16,000 drink driving tests.
In comparison, 59 drug driving tests were carried out in the Sligo /Leitrim division, and just over 8,000 drink driving tests over the same period.
