Dr. Morley, who worked at Waterford Hospital, Newfoundland, was a well respected family medicine specialist.
A keen cyclist and sports enthusiast, Dr. Morley is survived by his mother, Mary, sister, Cathy, brothers, Patrick and Brian as well as a large circle of further relatives and friends.
The main celebrant of today's funeral Mass, Fr. Terence Harrington spoke of the gloom which the sudden death had cast over communities on both sides of the Atlantic, in the west of Ireland and in Canada.
