Mayo legend Cora Staunton will depart for Australia today having secured her 6th All-Ireland Club Ladies Football winner's medal on Sunday.

The 35-year-old scored seven-points in Carnacon's 15-points to 1-10 win over Cork's Mourneabbey at Parnell Park.

Staunton will play for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the women's A-F-L for the next four months and the 11-time All-Star is looking forward to the challenge.

A large crowd turned out last night to welcome home the All-Ireland Champions.
