Anglers from England, Northern Ireland, the United States and from across Ireland took part in the Belmullet Sea Angling Club International Two Day Open Boat competition last weekend.

The prize for Greatest Variety over 2 days went to Tony Lally of Belmullet Sea Angling Club, while Cormac Burke from the UK won the out of state competition.

Greatest variety over 2 days junior competition was won by Francis Dixon of Belmullet Sea Angling Club, while the ladies competition was won by Pippa McEleavy from Belfast.

The Heaviest Fish on Saturday award went to Peter Coyne of Killala Sea Angling Club while Arthur Thurratt of Belmullet Sea Angling Club won Sunday's award.
