Former Mayo footballer Liam McHale has been confirmed as a selector of the Naas senior footballers, according to the Irish Independent.

The 1996 All-Star midfielder had been a regular part of various management teams with his brother-in-law Kevin McStay - most recently a three year stint with Roscommon and previously at club level with St Brigid's.

Naas native Niall Cronin has been confirmed as the manager.
